The Westchester/Rockland VESID Offices provides Orientation on an appointment basis.
White Plains (Westchester)
Applicants will be scheduled on a first come, first served basis for both the White Plains and Yonkers locations. Residents in the southern portion of the county can attend orientation in Yonkers. Consumers can call 914-946-9557 to schedule a date and time for an appointment. Late arrivals will be re-scheduled.
Call 914.946.4634 (TTY) to request a sign language interpreter for the orientation meeting. Applications will be available at this meeting and there will be a discussion on how to complete the application form and other required documentation.
Rockland
Orientation sessions are held at the Rockland satellite office in Spring Valley on a weekly basis. Applicants, advocates, representatives from referral agencies and other interested parties can call 845-426-5410 to schedule a date and time for an appointment.
