There are several ways to apply for VESID services.

White Plains (Westchester)

  • Yonkers and Mount Vernon Residents can attend a local informational and orientation meeting conveniently located in the local community. Meetings are held every two weeks at either one of two public libraries in Yonkers: Getty Square (7 Main Street) or Grinton I. Will (1500 Central Park Avenue). No appointment is needed. Applicants, advocates, representatives for agencies and interested individuals can call 914.946.2620 to get information on the next scheduled meeting. Call 914.946.4634 (TTY) to request an interpreter for the orientation meeting. Applications will be available at this meeting and there will be a discussion on how to complete the application form. obtained at the meeting.

Rockland

Applying for Services at the Rockland Satellite Office

  • Orientation sessions are held at the Rockland satellite office on a weekly basis. Applicants, advocates, representatives from referral agencies and other interested parties can call the main number 845.426.5410 to attend an orientation meeting and/or get information on the application process.
