VESID?
VESID
is a State Agency that helps people by paying for career planning, training, college,
and/or job placement services if
you are eligible.
Will
VESID help me if I don't know what to do after high school?
YES, VESID
career counselors can talk with you and send you to an agency that will
help you decide what career you are best at and most interested in.
Does
VESID pay for college?
VESID
may pay for college. IF you pass all of your RCTs/Regents, can get into
college, and show financial need.
How do
I get help from VESID?
Follow

How
much does VESID cost?
VESID
is FREE, if you are eligible. VESID can pay for your training.
Why
should I go to VESID after high school?
Because
VESID can help you obtain training and job placement at no cost to you
if you are eligible.
Do I
have to graduate from high school to get VESID services?
NO, you
do NOT have to graduate. You can get VESID services if you have an
IEP diploma, a regular diploma or even if you drop out.
Is
VESID only for students?
No,
VESID helps people of all ages and will continue to help you as long as
you need it!
It
sounds too good to be true; WHAT'S THE CATCH?
The
only catch is that you have to follow through! Get your paperwork
to your TLC, go to the appointment with your VESID counselor (call to
reschedule if you can't make the appointment), and attend the training program/college program that is
right for you.
