Subject: Update – Automated Payments Methodology for 2007/08 Supported Employment Intensive Services
VESID recently advised providers about implementation of the new Automated Payment Methodology for Intensive Supported Employment services. This will update the status of the initial contract payments for 2007/08.
Intensive Services: SED’s Information Technology Services has completed the final system edits and testing during the past week. Rather than process one payment for the first quarter, as was planned, payments are being processed individually for each monthly period. SED has begun processing intensive services payments for the month of October. They will continue processing until all payments through December services have been completed. SED is working towards getting these payments on a regular monthly cycle so that payments are processed at the same time each month.
Extended Services: Claims are being processed manually as they are received and are being paid through the regular method. There is no interruption to report at this time.
