MARINE MOTORCYCLE

DESCRIPTION

Marine motorcycle mechanics repair and service small engines including lawn mowers and power tools as well as larger equipment such as yachts.

WORK CONDITIONS

Mechanics generally work in well lit and ventilated repair shops. In some instances, outdoor work is required, therefore, the mechanic is subjected to the local climate.

TRAITS COMMON TO SUCCESSFUL STUDENTS

1. Ability to diagnose the cause of mechanical problems
2. Good reading and math skills to be able to utilize technical manuals.
