ADVERTISING ART AND DESIGN DESCRIPTION Graphic artists work in a commercial field, utilizing print, electronic, film and computer software, as well as individual talent to promote products and businesses. WORK CONDITIONS Graphic Artists are generally employed in a commercial setting which is well lit with good ventilation. There may be irritants such as paint and glue odors or reactions to certain inks and materials. The work is usually a forty-hour work week with overtime often necessary.
