In March 2006, the Department launched a new web service related to the residential placement of students with disabilities in approved private schools. This is a joint initiative of the State Education Department, the Office of Children and Family Services, and other public and private agencies as described in the March 2006 field memorandum . This e-mail capacity notification system is now one year old and, as promised, we are asking for your input in evaluating its effectiveness. Please complete the survey by June 15, 2007. Your responses will help us determine how useful the current system is and how to make it better.
