Winter Festival

Winter Festival 

The NYSSD Winter Festival is an annual event that brings forth a week of fun and spirit-filled activities; all planned and sponsored by the school student council.  All students are put onto four different teams and compete in a list of activities. Students may have a skit contest, an obstacle course competition, and swimming pool activities, including water tube polo games.  There is tremendous camaraderie among all the students and great fun had by all. All teams are awarded prizes for their participation. Students anxiously await the next Festival.
