The proposed amendments to the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education to conform State regulations to the new requirements in the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) are now available for review and public comment through July 25, 2005.
A chart that summarizes the proposed amendments is also attached to assist the public in its review of the proposed amendments.
The proposed amendments will be discussed at the June Regents meeting and are scheduled for action at the September Regents meeting.
