  • Greater percentages of Hispanic and Asian/Pacific Islander students with disabilities are classified as having speech and language impairments compared to students with disabilities of other race/ethnicities.
  • Greater percentages of Black and American Indian/Alaskan Native students with disabilities are classified as having emotional disturbance compared to students with disabilities of other race/ethnicities.
  • Greater percentages of White students with disabilities are classified as having other health impairments compared to students with disabilities of other race/ethnicities.
