- The data above indicate that
greater percentages of preschool children with disabilities are
receiving special education services in integrated settings
(settings which include non-disabled children) or at home, which
is considered a natural environment for preschool children. Also,
data indicate there has been a steady decline in the percent of
preschool children provided services in separate schools, which
are buildings that are attended by only students with
disabilities.
