Regents English Examination - Students with Disabilities

The numbers of students with disabilities tested on the English Regents examination continues to increase. Since 1997, there has been an almost 300 percent increase in the numbers of students with disabilities tested. Of the students tested in 2004, 65 percent achieved a score between 55-100. More than twice as many students achieved a score between 55-100 in 2004 than took the examination in 1997.
