Based on Race/Ethnicity, in Placement
of Students with Disabilities in Some Settings

 
   

Fewer school districts were notified for disproportionality in placement of Black and Hispanic students with disabilities in particular settings.

Fewer school districts were notified in 2002-03 compared to 2000-01 for placing Black and Hispanic students with disabilities in particular settings. Even though there was slight modification in criteria for notification, the change is numbers is not solely attributable to change in criteria.
