Regents Examinations in Biology and Living Environment (Students with Disabilities)

Results are combined for the Biology and Living Environment Regents examinations in 2001. The Biology examination was last administered in January 2001 and the Living Environment examination was first administered in June 2001. Since 1997, there has been a 443 percent increase in the number of students with disabilities taking a science Regents examination. Of the 16,001 students with disabilities tested in 2003, 71.4 percent achieved a score between 55-100. Also, in 2003, almost four times as many students with disabilities achieved a score between 55-100 than took the examination in 1997.
