Regents English Examination (Students with Disabilities)

The numbers of students with disabilities tested on the English Regents examination continues to increase. Since 1997, there has been a 269 percent increase in the numbers of students with disabilities tested. Of the students tested in 2003, 59 percent achieved a score of 55-100. More than twice as many students achieved a score between 55-100 in 2003 than took the examination in 1997.
