- The data above indicate that large
percentages of students with disabilities spend less than 40
percent of the school day in general education programs in New
York City and Rochester compared to other regions and groupings of
school districts.
- Data also indicate that New York
City and Urban-Suburban High Need school districts place the
greatest percentage of their school-age students with disabilities
in separate settings, compared to other regions and groupings of
school districts.
