Number of School Districts and Their Special Education Classification Rates

The number of school districts with classification rates of 15 percent or higher continue to increase over four years from 100 school districts in 1999 to 127 in 2002. The number of school districts with classification rates of 11 percent or lower continues to decrease from 265 in 1999 to 214 in 2002.
