Goal #6: 

All services for which VESID has responsibility will be cost effective.

Three key performance indicators established for this goal are:

  1. Annualized first year earnings of individuals with disabilities placed in jobs by VESID.

    Target: Annualized first year earnings of individuals with disabilities placed in jobs by VESID will increase annually.
  1. Percentage of fiscal resources expended on individuals with disabilities who achieve employment after receiving vocational rehabilitation services.

Target: The percentage of fiscal resources expended on individuals who achieve employment after receiving vocational rehabilitation services will increase annually.

Note: Data for this indicator are not presented in this edition of the Pocketbook.
  1. Difference in percentage of individuals reporting own income as largest single source of economic support between application for vocational rehabilitation services and achieving employment.

Target: The difference in percentage of individuals reporting own income as largest single source of economic support between application for vocational rehabilitation services and achieving employment will increase annually.
