Difference in Percentage of Individuals Reporting Own Income as Largest Single Source of Economic Support Between Application and Competitive Closure in New York State*

In FFY 2002 and FFY 2003, a lower percentage of individuals than in previous years reported achieving self sufficiency as a result of achieving employment. However, New York State continues to exceed the national standard for this federal indicator by over 10 percentage points.
