Public School District Placements of Students with Disabilities in Separate Educational Settings (2000-01 — 2002-03)

Compared to previous years, more school districts served a smaller proportion of students with disabilities in separate educational settings. For example, the number of school districts which placed 4.0 percent or less of students with disabilities in separate educational settings increased from 414 districts in 2000-01 to 429 districts in 2002-03.
