Chart: Percentage of School-Age Students with Disabilities by Types of Educational Settings – Large Five Cities Compared to Rest of Public School Districts

The large five cities (New York City, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and Yonkers) as a whole placed almost half of their students with disabilities (49.6 percent) in general education classrooms less than 40 percent of the day or in separate educational settings compared to 25 percent in other school districts.
