In 2002, on the Elementary-Level ELA examination, 29.7 percent of students with disabilities scored at or above Level 3 compared to 66.1 percent of general education students. Also, 37.2 percent of students with disabilities scored at or above Level 3 on the Elementary-Level Mathematics examination, compared to 71.9 percent of general education students.
