Compared to 1997, in 2001 a 152 percent increase was achieved for the number of students with disabilities tested for the Regents Examination in Mathematics Course 1.  More students with disabilities achieved a score of 55-100 in 2001 than took it in 1997. In addition to the number of students with disabilities taking the Regents Examination in Mathematics - Course I, in 2001, 3,936 students with disabilities took the Math A Regents Examination and 32.8 percent achieved a score of 55-100.
