Customer Satisfaction with the Special Education Quality Assurance (QA) Collaborative Review Process (1997-98)

The previous special education monitoring system focused on compliance with federal and state laws and regulations. The new QA process focuses on program effectiveness and student results. This process involves a team of school district staff, parents and the Department working together to ensure both compliance and improvement. The Department provides financial support to make improvements.
