Marge Tierney was a leader in the field of rehabilitation and a strong advocate for people with disabilities. Her 33-year career was dedicated to the development of quality services that would enhance employment and community independence opportunities for people with disabilities.
To remember Marge’s achievements and dedication, a scholarship has been established in her name. Each year an individual enrolled in a graduate program in rehabilitation counseling will be awarded up to $1,000 for use in pursuit of a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling.
Applications are accepted continuously. Mail the application form and all required attachments by June 1st to be considered for the scholarship for the following fall semester. The award is announced in July. |
